Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Public Health Registered Nurse to join our team in Laurinburg, NC. This is a full-time contract position for 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension and direct hire. The ideal candidate will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide public health nursing services to individuals, families, and communities.
- Conduct health assessments and develop care plans.
- Educate patients and the community on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in public health or community health nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
