The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. This assistant will be responsible for various clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities, all while operating within the scope of responsibilities and plan of care assigned by the Speech-Language Pathologist or physician.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to clients.
- Participate in clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with the Speech-Language Pathologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality client care.
Requirements
- A graduate degree from an accredited SLPA program or a bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.
- Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent, as required by state and/or contract.
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice.
- One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred.
- TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable.
- Current Health certificate, per contract or state regulation.
- Meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
