Overview
Amergis Locum Tenens is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to provide high-quality medical care to adult patients in our Wasco, CA location.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine provider with a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing primary care services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Primary Care Services: Provide episodic, preventive, and acute healthcare services to adult patients, including thorough patient histories and physical examinations to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Medical Treatment: Prescribe medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on medical issues as needed and evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor patients' progress regularly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements:
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine provider (MD/DO).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in providing primary care services.
- Licensure: Valid California Medical License.
- Certificate: Current DEA Certificate.
Work Schedule:
- Hours: 40 hours per week, distributed across 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts.
- Patient Load: 8-12 adults per day.
- Compensation: $225.00 hourly pay.
