We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to join our team in San Mateo.
The selected candidate will work as part of an adult inpatient and/or emergency room/psychiatric emergency services (PES) team, providing essential medical care and support. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and consulting with colleagues as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing psychiatric care to adult patients in inpatient settings
- Working in emergency rooms and psychiatric emergency services (PES)
- Participating in hospital consults as required
- Managing patient caseloads and prioritizing tasks effectively
Requirements:
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Licenses to practice medicine in relevant jurisdictions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
