What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Corrections (Travel) $2,071/week position at Amergis?
Requirements : Must be open to all shifts, have 2 years of experience in a Corrections Facility within the last 2 years, and possess an active nursing license.
The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close andimmediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basisproviding general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatorysection of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility securitystandards.
Minimum Requirements :
- Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in theapplicable state
- Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
