Overview Responsibilities
Processes all Remarketing paperwork. Works with associated vendors on the repossession and remarketing of repossessed vehicles. Responsible for the gathering, compiling, charting, and analyzing data to assist in the reporting and improvement of the Recovery Department functions. Prepares statistical and financial reports on recoveries and peer analysis. Assists in write off account recovery. Assists in ReMarketing of Repossessed vehicles. Assists in 3 rd party collection preparation. Performs miscellaneous recovery duties and acts as a resource for Recovery.
Qualifications
This position requires excellent communication and organizational abilities. Statistical and analytical expertise preferred. Ability to use Excel, Powerpoint and Word programs. Ability to be trained on the Collections database program. A basic understanding of collections and legal requirements. An understanding of the teller, collection, and write off systems. Ability to interpret and understand legal documents, regulatory communications and guidelines, local, state and federal laws. Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills are vital to this position.

Training/Education/Certification
- High school graduate or equivalent. Additional business education helpful.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Basic knowledge of loan, credit, and collections policies and procedures.
- Understanding of collections' methods, policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Ability to interpret and understand legal documents, regulatory communications and guidelines.
