Duties & Responsibilities
- Prospect, cold call, and cold email potential clients to generate leads and drive new business opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business goals and expand market reach.
- Organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase products and build strong business relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance sales efforts and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients to secure profitable partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Track leads, manage client interactions, and analyze sales data to optimize business development efforts.
- Prepare detailed reports on market trends, competitive landscape, and performance metrics for senior management review.
- Lead project management initiatives related to business development, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong cold calling and cold emailing skills, with the confidence to handle rejection and persist in pursuing leads.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
- Experience in strategic planning, execution, and lead generation within a business context.
- Ability to organize and manage trade shows, including logistics, networking, and follow-ups.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to assess market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
