We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries and requests efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently while ensuring all necessary information is collected.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining high standards of guest relations.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting at the end of each day.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
