Responsibilities
- Handle dozens of calls per hour for a wide range of different companies.
- Take messages with accurate information and correct spelling.
- Dispatch messages according to client's preferences.
- Follow scripted call flows and carefully read all instructions.
- Assist callers with inquiries and issue resolution.
- Transcribe voice messages.
- Utilize multiple programs to enter customer inquiries and work orders for different clients.
- Maintain good call control and a professional, courteous attitude.
- Meet the efficiency goals for timely call handling.
- Strong verbal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Above-average reading comprehension skills.
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Windows, email, and navigating websites.
- Ability to multi-task, switching between different applications and multiple computer screens.
- Comfortable typing and working at a computer all day
- Ability to empathize and demonstrate patience with difficult callers.
- Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback.
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred, not required.
