Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Corporate Loan Underwriter located in Glendora, CA. The Corporate Loan Underwriter (CLU) will analyze credit applications for Non-Consumer loans in the For-Profit and Not-for-Profit verticals, specifically, Ministry lending. The Corporate Loan Underwriter will evaluate and underwrite commercial loan applications by analyzing creditworthiness and assessing financial information. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, reviewing financial documents, and making informed lending decisions within regulatory guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to ensure the thorough and prompt processing of loan applications.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to assess financial risk
- 3 to 5 years of similar or related experience
- Knowledge of Loans and Finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field a plus
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus
