About the Role:
As a Concrete Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of concrete used in various construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct tests and inspections on concrete materials to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. You will collaborate closely with engineers and construction teams to provide insights and recommendations based on your findings. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting test results and maintaining accurate records to support project compliance. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the successful completion of projects, ensuring safety and durability in the structures built.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in concrete testing or a related field.
- Basic understanding of concrete properties and testing methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a related field.
- Experience working in a construction or materials testing environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASTM and ACI.
Responsibilities:
