Role Description
This is a full-time Senior Human Resource Generalist role at America's Group located in Carmel, IN. The Senior Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for HR management, developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing employee benefits, and benefits administration.
Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management
- Knowledge of HR policies and Employee Benefits
- Providing guidance to employees and managers with questions and concerns
- Assist with employee leaves, including FMLA
- Coordinating Performance Reviews
- Managing employee relations issues
- Oversee processing of employee changes such as raises, terminations and system updates
- Manage system
- HR projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience
- A consulting mindset with excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes, best practices, and compliance
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to keep digging until you find the answer
- Experience working with multi-state companies preferred.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
