America's Home Health Services has proudly serviced Pennsylvanians for 17 years. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Home Health Consultant to join our growing home care team. The Consultant will be responsible for driving business development, building relationships with referral sources, and increasing the visibility of our services within the community. This role involves engaging with healthcare professionals, families, and potential clients to provide information about our home care offerings and ensure that individuals receive the care they need. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to increase the number of home care and IDD referrals and client admissions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, senior living communities, and other healthcare professionals.
- Identify new business opportunities within the local community, targeting potential clients and their families.
- Attend networking events, health fairs, and industry-related conferences to generate leads and build brand awareness.
Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by converting leads into clients.
- Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and follow-up calls with prospective clients and families to explain our services, benefits, and pricing.
- Provide consultations to clients and families regarding home care options and create tailored care solutions that meet their needs.
- Assist clients in navigating the home care process, from initial inquiries to service setup, ensuring a seamless transition.
Referral Source Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with existing referral sources, maintaining ongoing communication to ensure a steady flow of referrals.
- Regularly follow up with referral sources to ensure satisfaction and discuss opportunities for future referrals.
- Identify new referral channels and implement strategies to expand the referral network.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, addressing concerns, and following up with clients and families throughout the sales process.
- Ensure that clients and referral sources are fully informed of our services, policies, and procedures, and provide them with the support they need to make informed decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the sales process and ensure they feel supported and valued.
Market Research & Reporting:
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Regularly report sales performance, leads, and client feedback to the Home Care Manager.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities, contacts, and leads using a CRM system or other tracking tools.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the internal care team to ensure that the transition from sales to service delivery is seamless and efficient.
- Work on full compliance regarding record keeping, filing, documentation and ensure you and your team are performing best practices.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and other healthcare industry standards.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including client intake forms, contracts, and service agreements, accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Preferred degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Proven track record of sales success, with experience meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working with referral sources and building relationships in the healthcare or senior services industry is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple clients and sales efforts at once.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of home care services, senior care, or healthcare is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel within the designated service area to meet with clients and referral sources.
- Occasional lifting of promotional materials.
