This includes the content review process for educational activities and other learning resources with subject matter experts, authors, copy editors, and reviewers. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the content development process for education activities and other learning resources by executing the approved content development schedules. This includes sending editors, subject matter experts/authors, vendors, copy editors, and reviewer’s invitations, reminders, and follow up correspondence in accordance with established timelines. Collect and organize submitted content by establishing and maintaining editorial management systems, project management systems, databases, trackers, and spreadsheets. Ensure content is delivered for programming in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Coordinate grant application system for the Sulzberger and Innovative Dermatology Education Award (IDEA) education grants. This includes updating timelines, working with the IT department to set up the application in the online grant system, ensuring application is accurate and up to date, coordinating email blasts with communications team, opening and closing judging period, communicating and following-up on due dates with judges, downloading judging scores, tracking winner reporting, preparing agenda packets, and participating in committee calls and meetings.
- Coordinate the Thomas G. Pearson Memorial Education Award process. This includes updating the timeline, sending out the call for nominations and ballots, ordering the plaque, and collaborating with Executive Office, while following all steps in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure.
- Proofread educational content and other materials to ensure submitted content follows AAD- approved templates, format, and style.
- Assist in ensuring activities are developed in compliance with Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and American Board of Dermatology Continuing Certification Program (CCP) credit requirements and in compliance with AAD policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with ACCME Essentials, Criteria, Standards, and Policies. Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with AMA credit policies.
CCTF Liaison (Liaison) Support Responsibilities
Provide administrative coordination and support to liaison and council, committee, task force or work group (CCTF) members as delegated and assigned. Actions include:
- Working with assigned liaison to coordinate and disseminate agenda packets, action items, meeting notes, and reports.
- Working with assigned liaison to develop reports, PowerPoint presentations, talking points, and other content/documents as required for meetings.
- Working with assigned liaison to coordinate meeting logistics in accordance with scheduled deadlines.
- Ensure that CCTF members’ and liaison disclosure of interest forms are updated annually and shared at each CCTF meeting.
- Attend and participate in CCTF meetings, events, and activities, as needed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years’ experience coordinating multiple projects and providing support to members or customers.
- Ability to apply effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication methods to achieve desired results.
- Identify and define problems; examine relevant information and choose correct course of action based on standard operating procedures.
- Possess organizational skills and the ability to prioritize assignments and coordinate projects including monitoring the progress of tasks and projects and providing follow up to supervisor.
- Ability to work effectively with varied people to facilitate the completion of the work.
- Able to operate standard office equipment, i.e. copiers, fax, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills required, including follow-up.
- Accuracy and attention to detail necessary.
- High degree of computer literacy, excellent data entry skills, database maintenance skills, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
