Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from policyholders and potential customers.
- Address customer inquiries, provide information about insurance products, coverage options, and policy details.
- Assist customers with policy changes, including adding or removing coverage, updating personal information, and adjusting deductibles.
- Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given.
- Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
- Help customers understand coverage limits, deductibles, and any exclusions within their policies.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting issues and provide effective solutions.
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Property & Casualty license required
- Understanding of insurance policies, industry regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proven experience of 3 years as an insurance customer service representative
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer requests and processing policy changes
