What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services Representative position at American Adventure Expeditions?
Job Purpose: To be the smiling faces and helpful voices of AAE!!! Providing a positive, helpful, and courteous experience for all AAE guests all while adhering to the mission statement of American Adventure Expeditions: To build connection through hospitality focused outdoor adventures!
Key Responsibilities (in order of priority):
- Maintaining a positive attitude that exemplifies excellent customer service at all times.
- Answering phones and booking reservations
- Assisting AAE guests in the check-in process.
- Timely replies to all information and brochure requests.
- Organizing and cleaning of the office retail area, including guest restrooms.
- Maintenance of property including trash removal, watering flowers, etc.
- Stocking and organizing retail merchandise and food in retail area.
- Maintaining an accurate customer database within the on-line reservation system by entering information from rafters’ waivers.
- Preparation and packing of all lunches and additional meals.
- Complete all daily cash and duty reports.
- Performing weekly inventory reports.
Pay Information: This is a full time seasonal position from May 1st through Labor Day weekend that starts at $16.00 / hour, but each employee will be paid based on their previous experience and performance.
