What you'll do
Plans and manages department meetings , travel, and function for team membersCoordinates travel arrangements, requiring familiarity with booking travel and ability to anticipate travel needs, mitigate issues, and collaborate with appropriate resources to resolve in a timely mannerReceives incoming telephone calls, inquiries, and correspondence : handles or routes calls appropriately with professionalism at all timesResponds to customer requests and complaints within limits of authority and directs inquiries outside of authority to the appropriate staff memberReviews expense reports, check requests and invoices for accuracyInteracts with all levels of management, corporate clients, and business community leadersEnsures department's document filing is kept up to date and the filing system is maintained properlyProvides general administrative support for department managementMay handle department SIDA badging ProcessMay handle department custom seal processMay handle department purchasing using CoupaProvides administrative support to Director and Managers in the departmentAll you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalencyPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's Degree in related fieldPrevious American Airlines (AA) office administrative experienceSkills, Licenses & Certifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Knowledge of PowerPointKnowledge of Sabre and travel bookingSkills and ability to accurately coordinate, track, and report departmental appointments and functionsWhat you'll get
