This job is a member of the Payments and Digital Strategy team within the American Airlines Federal Credit Union. The role is responsible for providing administrative support for fraud investigations for American Airlines Credit Union members.
What you'll do
- Research, collect and analyze data pertinent to various types of transactional fraud cases including cards, checks & other payment methods
- Communicate methods to avoid being the victim of fraud
- Assist the Operations Department Fraud Analyst by acting as liaison to law enforcement authorities to provide information to assist in subsequent investigation, prosecution and restitution
- Interface with members, management and non-management personnel of the credit union which includes heavy phone communication with members
- Maintain a working relationship with the Legal Department fraud analyst to determine fraud trends and provide helpful information for investigations regarding fraud against AACU
- Provide insight into policy and procedure changes / updates that could reduce or mitigate fraud
- Perform other duties as assigned
- The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his / her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
