Position Summary:
The HR Assistant / Receptionist supports the Human Resources department and front desk operations by managing administrative tasks, employee communications, and visitor interactions. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and a professional first impression of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors, vendors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and route incoming calls to appropriate departments.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, preparing orientation packets, and ensuring smooth integration.
- Maintain and update employee records, including attendance.
- Assist in tracking the safety program.
- Help prepare materials for meetings, training sessions, or presentations.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Required Skill:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years of administrative or HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
