JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: Transfer Center Dispatcher
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Previous administrative support experience (preferred)
Working knowledge of basic office software (Word, Excel, email, etc.)
Excellent computer and typing skills

POSITION SUMMARY:
American Ambulance is looking for qualified persons to work at the Communication Center as a Transfer Center Dispatcher. This position processes inter-facility transfer request calls to the Communication Center. Conduct billing and medical necessity questioning to determine level of response needed and coordinate the transfer of patient. Enter pertinent information into the computer, faxing/emailing Physician Certification Statements as needed. The selection process will consist of a review of qualifications, math, reading comprehension and writing tests, at least one interview, & a review of job performance (current employees).
The salary range for this position is $47,239 - $56,973 annually + full benefits that include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid vacation & sick leave, and more.
