American Artstone Company is a premier cast stone and architectural precast manufacturer in the midwest for over 100 years. Due to continued growth, we have openings in our material handling/shipping department
American Artstone specializes in manufacturing commercial and residential masonry cladding products and has worked on projects such as TCF Stadium (home of the Golden Gophers), University of St. Thomas, Minnesota Vikings Training Facility and UND Ralph Engelstad Arena, just to name a few.
Position is 40-hour work weeks with the possibility of overtime. Hours are 5:00am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday. Previous construction experience or similar skills are preferred but willing to train reliable individuals with a strong work ethic.

General Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements:
· Ability to take and follow verbal and written direction.
· Read blueprints including shop drawings, hardware list, and piece tickets.
· Calculate fractions, decimals, portions, percentages, area, and volume.
· Properly operate hand and power tools.
· Follow proper safety procedures.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
· Maintain a positive, helpful, & constructive attitude.
· Ability to lift 80 lbs. on an occasional basis and 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
· Operate a forklift.
· Operate overhead crane.
· Ability to work additional hours/days as required.
· Fill out time sheets and material usage reports.
· Assist in other departments if/as needed.
Job Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements:
· Proper use of overhead crane using correct rigging methods.
· Strip poured concrete products and safely land products in shipping area.
· Perform surface finishes such as acid washing, sandblasting, honing, polishing, etc.
· Perform filling and patching of products along with any painting that may be required.
· Stack finished products on pallets, A-frames, or bulk; insuring correct pallets weights, product protection devices, stability, pallet tags, etc.
· Load small trailers and semi-trailers; insuring correct trailer weights, stability, correct tie downs, etc.
