What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Radiological Physicist position at American Association of Physicists in Medicine?
Medical Physics Consultants, Inc (MPC) is a Medical Physics Consulting company with offices in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Utah. We have been providing Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, and Medical Health Physics consulting services for over 45 years. MPC has 40 MS / PhD level physicists, including certification by the ABR, ABMP, ABSNM, and ABHP.
We have a full-time position available in Indiana for a Diagnostic Radiological Physicist . Duties include :
- Regulatory compliance inspections
- Shielding design
- Imaging system acceptance / performance testing
- Accreditation testing
While some travel will be necessary, we hire our physicists with the express intent of working mainly within the state in which they reside. Physicists are assigned their own accounts.
