- A Cost Estimating Analyst is responsible for analyzing and estimating the costs associated with projects, products, or services.
- Gather and evaluate data related to project requirements, resources, labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates, create cost models, and ensure budget adherence throughout a project's lifecycle.
- Use specialized software and methodologies to perform cost analysis and forecasting, ensuring that financial goals are met while minimizing risks and potential overruns.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills are essential for the role.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3 -5 Years of experience working in a financial or analytical role
- experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using financial software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Stong attention to detail and analytical skills
- 5 - 7 Years of experience working in a financial or analytical role
- Experience using PLEX systems
