We are currently seeking qualified applicants to join our team as a Credit Risk Analyst at our 50th Street Banking Center in Lubbock, TX. This schedule would be 8:00am - 5:00pm M-F.
Primary Job Functions:
- Assist in the preparation of the Bank for exams/audits. Coordinate with regulatory agency examiners and independent auditors during examinations. Recommend corrective action as necessary. Review and implement recommendations.
- Review loan requests to determine their adherence to Bank policy.
- Review credits to determine the quality of loans regarding current economic conditions trends in financial condition of the borrower, and value of collateral.
- Attend monthly meetings and prepare reports for the Director’s Loan Review Committee concerning the bank's current assessment of risk within the bank.

Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in the preparation of the Bank for exams/audits. Coordinate with regulatory agency examiners and independent auditors during examinations. Recommend corrective action as necessary. Review and implement recommendations.
- Review loan requests to determine their adherence to Bank policy.
- Review credits to determine the quality of loans regarding current economic conditions, trends in financial condition of the borrower, and value of collateral.

- Other projects / duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with all federal, state, and bank policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Adhere to all relevant security responsibilities as outlined in the Bank's Information Security Program and Written Security Program.
- Assist in preparing ACL calculations monthly.
- Assist in reviewing Problem Asset Reports quarterly.
- Locate and monitor overdue accounts.
- Assist in arranging for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations.
- Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts.
- Receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required or equivalent experience (minimum of four years banking experience with increasing job responsibilities, preferably with credit experience).
