Mortgage Loan Processor - Collinsville

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our dynamic teamin Collinsville, OK. This position is responsible for managing and processing mortgage loan files, ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate, and complies with company policies and regulatory standards. The role involves close interaction with loan officers, underwriters, applicants, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely and efficient approval of loans.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify applicant information, including income, employment, and credit history.
• Ensure all required documentation is collected and properly filed.
• Coordinate with mortgage loan originators, underwriters, and other parties involved in the loan process.
• Ensures loans and processes meet compliance standards.
• Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with bank policies and applicable laws.
• Completes timely loan documentation retention, scanning, and storage.
• Accurate date and document entries.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures.
• Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees.
• Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.
• Knowledge of BytePro software preferred but not required.
• Performs other additional/related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in mortgage operation activities, terminology and products and services related to both in-house and secondary mortgage services.
• Intermediate knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.
• Intermediate knowledge of general office practices.
• Strong customer service and communications skills.
• Basic math skills; calculate interest and balance accounts; locate routine mathematical errors.
• Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.
• Thorough understanding of customer service.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
• Financial institution operations, sales, or customer service background.
• Previous experience in loan processing or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Physical Requirements:

• Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day.
