Title: Distribution Lead
Location: Mt. Juliet, TN
Department Name: Device Operations
Reports To: Distribution Supervisor
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM CST
Summary: The Device Hub Lead is responsible for troubleshooting day-to-day operations of the hub and reacting quickly and appropriately to problems that occur with parcels at the hub including missing or extra parcels as well as damages. This position requires a proactive and enthusiastic self-starter with an interest in being part of a fast-paced and detail-oriented package sorting and courier handoff process. The Lead will coach hub operators and troubleshoot parcel and courier issues within an open team environment. She/he will perform management duties as delegated by leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Distribute incoming product to operations teams
- Resolve parcel issues as they arise including missing or extra parcels as well as damages
- Directly responsible to fix issues in hubs immediately - exceptionally hands-on and responsive
- Manage hardware assets and supplies
- Prepare orders for shipping according to terms of customer’s purchase order
- Coordinate with production and hub counterparts to ensure smooth hand offs and fulfillment of operational goals
- Meet productivity goals and comply with quality standards
- Perform duties as delegated by management including shifting positions, substituting for operators, monitoring breaks and related tasks
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to operators on a daily basis
- Exemplify a strong sense of urgency for team to follow
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving or related environment required
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a problem-solving environment
- Ability to learn and follow work instructions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Leads by example being one of the top performers in the department
- Demonstrated high energy and a positive attitude
- Highly-motivated self-starter who takes initiative and acts independently as appropriate
- Strong team player who will thrive in a start-up environment
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and motivating others
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Work is performed in a typical warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures, moderate to high levels of noise and forklift truck traffic
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
- Ability to move/lift up to 35 lbs with or without accommodation
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Requires prolonged computer use, close attention to detail and ability to interpret data and other information
- Requires predictable attendance with the ability to work overtime during peak season.
Pay Range:
$16.95 - $27.12Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
