Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results.
- Designs function based behavior plans and supervises behavior analytic interventions.
- Effectively develops and implements appropriate assessment and intervention methods for use in unfamiliar situations and for a range of cases. Seeks the consultation of more experienced practitioners when necessary.
- Teaches others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research and designs and delivers instruction in behavior analysis.
- Conduct parent training including making presentations, conducting in person /online trainings, collecting data, assigning homework and scheduling
- Creates and implements appropriate function based replacement behavior trainings.
- Provides on-going training of caregivers.
- Collects and analyzes data using paper and electronic data collection systems.
- Completes on-going monitoring and evaluation of all behavioral objectives.
- Completes all required documentation and provides to all appropriate parties. This documentation includes but is not limited to the following: contact and service logs, session notes, supervision documentation of supervisees, assessment reports, monthly summaries of monitoring including the who, what, when and where of the monitoring event, behavior analysis service plans and services provided including graphic displays of acquisition and reduction behaviors related to implementation of the service plan, bi-annual reports
- Supervise RBT's and BCaBA's as needed for caseload
- Attend all required and/or appropriate meetings including team meetings, case meetings, parent meetings, school meetings, or any other meeting required in regards to client service provision or employment.
- Follows all conduct guidelines and disciplinary standards as described by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Meets all requirements of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board for continuing education and renewal and/or recertification requirements.
- Receive supervision from a BCBA and follows the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s policy on supervising
- Ensures the required documentation is completed daily
- Communicate daily with stakeholders (BCBA, parents, teachers, etc.)
- Utilize electronic data collection system and inputting programs.
- Ongoing supervision is provided under the direction of a BCBA on the principles and procedures of behavior analysis, data collection procedures, management of staff, and the implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst Certification from BACB (Supervision training completed)
Basic Life Skills Certification (or in person CPR certification with in person evaluation)
Florida Medicaid Number (or eligible for Medicaid number- never been terminated from Medicaid)
NPI Number
Consent and Pass Level 2 Background Check
PREFERRED SKILLS
Works well independently, can lift 25 pounds, able to work with children, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written), familiar with iPad
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Must be able to commute independently to service clients in home/ school/ community settings.
