Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist will provide the organization with day-to-day human resources support that aligns with business objectives and goals. The generalist will ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies and labor laws while fostering a positive work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive HR support across areas such as organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and training.
- Supports the HRIS by ensuring data accuracy, optimizing the system, and integrating benefits, recruiting, and other modules.
- Supports full-cycle recruiting by collaborating with hiring teams to source candidates, schedule and conduct interviews, perform background checks and eligibility verifications, and onboard new hires, all while ensuring alignment with the recruitment budget.
- Responsible for the offboarding process by ensuring the proper completion of exit interviews, managing the return of company property, submitting offboarding Jira tickets, coordinating final benefits, and providing a smooth transition for the departing employee.
- Maintain HR/employee records, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping protocol. Provide reporting and analysis as needed.
- Offers guidance and coaching to employees, leadership, and supervisors, ensuring staff are aware of available support and reporting options.

Required Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in a related field, such as Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Strong combination of administration, communication, coordination, and organization skills.
- Working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the generalist role within non-profit.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, web-based video conferencing, learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), and HR compliance systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with web-based survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics) preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
Travel Required
- Travel is expected to be between 0% - 5% of the time.
Work Environment:
The work environment is an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The environment is also temperature-controlled. This may vary if working from home.

The expected physical workload is expected to be: Light work, as described below.

Salary : $70,000 - $74,000
