Our Opportunity

We have an opportunity available for a permanent, full-time, Maintenance Associate at our Jefferson City Distribution Center at 403 East Old Andrew Johnson Hwy. The successful candidate will join our team of maintenance professionals. 

JOB PURPOSE

The Maintenance Associate is dedicated to supporting the Maintenance Manager and reducing downtime and increasing efficiency of all warehouse equipment and machinery. This position carries out facilities repairs and preventative maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Maintenance:
• • Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs. 
  • Ensure the building's structural integrity by inspecting and repairing walls, floors, ceilings, and doors. 
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. 
• Equipment Maintenance: 
• • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair warehouse machinery and equipment, such as conveyors, forklifts, and compactors. 
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules to minimize downtime. 
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or servicing. 
• Safety Compliance: 
• • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. 
  • Address and resolve safety hazards promptly. 
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment servicing. 
• Inventory Management: 
• • Monitor and manage maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. 
  • Order replacement parts and supplies as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
• Emergency Response: 
• • Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies during regular business hours and occasionally after hours. 
  • Support emergency preparedness efforts, including fire drills and equipment shutdowns. 
• Collaboration and Support: 
• • Work closely with the operations team to minimize downtime and disruptions. 
  • Assist with setup and teardown for events or special projects as required.
