This is a fully remote position and can be based anywhere within the U.S.

The Sr Marketing Designer, Corporate Partnerships role conceptualizes, designs, and delivers a wide variety of visually compelling and customized marketing assets for current and prospective partnerships across the Enterprise Corporate Partnerships team portfolio. This role will be responsible for the graphic design and copywriting of sales presentations, pitch decks, executive creative summaries, and briefs for new business opportunities, as well as support the creation of dynamic campaigns and co-branded collateral for execution of managed national partnerships. A strategic-minded designer and business professional, the Senior Marketing Designer has a good understanding of B2B Sales and non-profit corporate partnership, with the ability to make design/marketing recommendations based on industry trends. This position must consistently demonstrate dependability and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines, a highly efficient creative workflow, strong organizational skills and an ability to craft inspired designs in the ACS’s brand, vision, voice, and style. In addition, this role will liaison with the ACS Marketing, Mission Resourcing team on design development and marketing plans for anything related to how Corporate Partnerships messages come to life on cancer.org, paid media, social, etc. This role elevates the quality of the work, helps lead to success, and brilliantly brings our story to life with communications that move people to action.

Major Responsibilities

  • Acts as sole designer and creative subject matter expert for Enterprise Corporate Partnerships team marketing/sales projects and initiatives.
  • Leads the graphic design and copywriting for prospective partner pitches, sales presentations, and partner renewal decks/proposals that drive corporate partnership revenue, collaborating with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to bring talking points to life visually. Includes developing a co-branded look-and-feel and integration of various creative assets (ex: video, stills, graphs, mock-ups) to create a visually compelling and easy-to-understand story.
  • Leads the creation of visually stunning designs for execution of corporate and sports partner-related marketing campaigns. Examples of co-branded creative deliverables include but are not limited to: social media content, digital web banners, print ads, event signage, flyers/handouts, partner pages on cancer.org, etc. Ensures that designs are high quality and delivered on-time and with accuracy.
  • Develops project management tools to track requests, deliverables, and timelines using Monday.com
  • Creates specialized & templated impact reports for managed accounts.
  • Supports development and design of internal strategy decks for identified campaigns/initiatives based upon enterprise and Region/Division needs.
  • Leads the creation of new and updates of existing master templates for national sales materials.
  • Maintains branding guidelines in creative development and ensures sales/operations team members understand ACS branding guidelines and needs.
  • Drafts media briefs and provides project management support for corporate partnership activation paid media campaigns.
  • Leads internal review process for all public-facing design assets.
  • Manages multiple creative projects spanning a diverse range of campaigns.
  • Constantly works to improve communications and processes necessary for optimum creative output.
  • Consistently elevates the quality of the work and brings a positive dynamic to the team.
  • Encourages strong collaborative relationship with ACS Marcom partners in development of marketing plans and execution of deliverables for identified corporate and sports partnerships.
  • Thinks creatively and is highly strategic and flexible.
  • Embodies diversity through their work and shows a high level of DEI understanding.

FORMAL/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in graphic design, marketing design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with video editing, photography, and a broader range of creative tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Canva, Web-based workflow applications.
  • Superior project management, organization, and people skills. Experience using project management software such as Monday.com preferred.
  • Strong copywriting capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of print and digital production techniques and standards
  • Agency, media, or advertising experience with knowledge of marketing strategies/platforms.
  • Experience working with or for non-profits a plus.
  • Must have an online portfolio, applications without portfolio will not be considered.

Competencies/Skills

  • Strong point-of-view on visual design, with the ability to contribute to creative brainstorming and help develop creative concepts.
  • Active listener with ability to translate talking points into impactful designs.
  • Knowledge of design trends and best practices.
  • Understanding of non-profit partnerships (cause marketing, POS, licensing, etc.).Ability to approach design challenges creatively and strategically.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic with dedication to delivering high-quality work that meets and/or exceeds expectations
  • Strong time management and accountability so that all work is on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy with ability to deliver designs with quick turnaround.
  • Basic understanding of B2B sales.
  • Experience performing in multiple roles across industry verticals (design, marketing, copyrighting, project management, strategy, etc.).
  • Comfortable working alone without support of a larger design team.
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups.
  • Knows how to manage through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Operates effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear.
  • Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a changing work environment.
  • Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

SPECIAL MENTAL OR PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • No or very limited physical effort required. No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
  • 15% Travel required.

The starting rate is $95,000 to $105,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
