Summary:

Operationalize the implementation of promulgation and dissemination processes for contractual agreements for Trauma Education programs in conjunction with the Trauma Education directors. Ensure policies and practices are followed and make recommendations to align work related to Trauma Education programs occurring outside North America with ACS operational and business expectations. Monitor program participation to ensure the quality and compliance of local programs. Monitor the business activity, aggregate and analyze performance data to identify anomalies in conjunction with the Business Administrator. Provide support to associated committees, advisory councils, and work groups. Work with Trauma Education directors and Business Administrator to identify opportunities to grow the education program outside of North America, and provide support for needs assessment findings, marketing, and relationship building.

- Promote Expansion of Trauma Education Programs

- Liaise with Trauma Education Country Leaders Outside of North America

- Provide Support and Monitor Course Site Compliance

This exempt position will report to the Business Administrator, Trauma Education Programs, in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $75,000 per year (commensurate with related experience).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for global relationships and contractual agreements for the global Trauma Education programs. Ensure smooth operations through documentation and established SOPs for all aspects of the program, including proper assignment to corresponding world bank tiers. Work with Manager to track revenue, audit, and identify non-compliance to address appropriately. Assist with transitioning all countries to ACS format and track for necessary updates and additions; responsible for the renewal schedule and process. Update and enhance promulgation application and process as needed, in collaboration with the Medical Director.

  • Provide day-to-day support for all Trauma Education activities outside of North America.  Foster integration and ensure alignment of processes and resource tools across programs and within ACS. Together with Trauma Education supervisors, maintain relationships between ACS Trauma Education programs and stakeholders in the global community. Provide information and support to new and existing country leaders involved in Trauma Education to help achieve program success. Track and analyze Trauma Education usage and quality across platforms (LMS, CMS, App, and other course reports) for all programs outside the US using, compiling and presenting various reports.

  • Support Trauma Education leaders to develop and expand global Trauma Education programs, with a particular focus on promulgation and dissemination models and processes. Leverage current programs and articulate requirements to support growth in existing and new markets; maintain alignment with core principles and priorities of the COT and ACS; verify adequate and appropriate leadership and membership structure within any country (RCOT and/or ATLS Committee) requesting to offer Trauma Education Programs.  In conjunction with supervisors, identify needs and opportunities to expand the distribution of Trauma Education programs to countries as approved by ACS leadership. Collaborate to create and execute marketing for new Trauma Education programs or course revisions as they launch. Follow up on requests from individual countries and socialize understanding of pricing structures (to new and existing stakeholders). Assist in pursuing funding opportunities when appropriate, to ensure equitable access to Trauma Education in low-income countries.

  • Work closely with global stakeholders, gathering feedback, providing support to ensure compliance, identifying needs, and tracking participation. Work closely with supervisor to address individual country challenges and needs. Support Medical Director in pursuing business development opportunities and addressing individual stakeholder challenges as they arise. Provide support to the Global Collaboration Advisory Council and provide information regarding their efforts across trauma programs and the trauma community. Process site and faculty recognitions. Collaborate with Global Customer Service Program Coordinator regarding day-to-day operations and issues that arise. Participate as a member within the Global Symposium Work Group.

  • Contribute enthusiastically to an environment of continual performance improvement, team collaboration and service to improve care of the injured patient, executed in accordance with the ACS values. Seek and promote areas of integration and alignment within Trauma Programs and across ACS activities. Pursue and welcome opportunities for evolution of responsibilities and growth in position. Create and maintain written organizational processes and procedures in support of all projects and activities handled in this program area.

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required. Training in adult education is a plus.

  • At least 4-7 years of related experience is preferred. Program/Project management experience is required.

  • Customer service and committee support experience is required.

  • Experience with reporting and data analytics is required.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) required.

  • Demonstrated track record of attention to detail, task management, and organization required.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Experience with legal contracting is preferred.
