What this Position Does: The Property Operations Intern will assist the Operations department with property operations, apartment leasing, and corporate operations, among other areas.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities This Person will be Overseeing:
- Assist with lease agreements, tenant screening, lease renewal processes, and resident communication protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, handle inquiries & complaints, and foster positive tenant relations.
- Participate in property inspections, including move-in/move-out inspections, routine inspections, and unit turnover processes.
- Execute marketing strategies, advertising channels, leasing techniques, and resident retention initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the local rental market.
- Collaborate with team members to complete ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Involved with the Position: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
What Education and/or Experience You Will Bring to the Table: Must be at least of Junior status, pursuing a degree in a four-year university, expected graduation May 2026-or-sooner.
Communication Skills Involved with the Position: Must have strong verbal and written skills; must be able to communicate with various departments.
Analytical Abilities this Person Will Bring to the Table: Must be able to problem-solve; must be open to learning and absorbing new information.
