The Systems Operations Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Systems Operations & Performance. This role will connect business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring the effective implementation and improvement of critical systems throughout the organization. In this role, you will have an integral role in project execution, communicate stakeholder needs to technical teams, and contribute to the strategic roadmap.

The Systems Operations Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Systems Operations & Performance. This role will connect business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring the effective implementation and improvement of critical systems throughout the organization. In this role, you will have an integral role in project execution, communicate stakeholder needs to technical teams, and contribute to the strategic roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of operational programs and processes.
- Stay informed about company processes and requirements to strategically problem-solve.
- Be a key contributor to system and program rollouts.
- Serve as a subject matter resource and point of contact for company operational systems and programs.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Systems Operations & Performance teams to ensure that the functionalities needed for the different systems are delivered and aligned with the business requirements and objectives, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration.
- Ensure prompt resolution of issues that occur post-implementation of programs or process improvements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Escalate critical issues to management teams as needed.
- Define key performance indicators to best evaluate and measure performance of programs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize systems and management software programs.
- Review, track and report on KPIs for new and existing property systems and programs.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks during the pilot and rollout process.
- Maintain and evaluate product performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Perform other essential responsibilities or tasks as assigned by Sr. Director, Operations & Performance.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
- At least 5 years of property management experience including in-depth knowledge of all property management systems and programs that are performed at a site level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Yardi, Entrata, OneSite.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Possess technical expertise to understand technology requirements specific to multifamily property management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Exceptional listening skills, ability to problem solve, and patience with team members of all skill levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple priorities and prioritize effectively to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
