**Job Description:**
Senior Environmental Engineer will lead environmental remediation projects ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, clients, and the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute environmental remediation projects involving conventional and innovative technologies for cleanup/removal of hazardous wastes, contaminated soils, and management of site investigation/remediation approach and execution including feasibility analysis/studies.
- Evaluate remedial technologies, design, and implementation of in-situ and ex-situ remedial approaches.
- Oversight of operations and maintenance of remediation equipment/installations, remedial system design specification compliance and optimization, facility compliance evaluations, and emissions calculations.
- Regulatory applicability reviews (review/interpretation of environmental regulations), engaging and directing staff in data collection and analysis, permit preparation, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements within the State of Florida.
- Oversee project staff and subcontractors.
- Manage assigned projects for technical adherence, budgetary constraints, and scheduled deliverables.
- Provide technical expertise to various project teams within the organization.
- Work effectively with minimal supervision, while providing concise and critical updates as necessary.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or other relevant discipline).
- Minimum of 5-10 years of environmental consulting and design experience to support projects involving site investigations, remediation, regulatory compliance, and environmental permitting for groundwater, soil, soil vapor, air, and regulated waste.
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) registration with relevant experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other applicable environmental modeling software.
- OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
