§ Responsible for leading day-to-day operations of the contracted site, including managing a team of security officers aper your shift.
§ Ensure personnel are properly uniformed and present a neat and professional appearance as referenced in the ACS Handbook.
§ Ensure Security Officers are thoroughly knowledgeable of their duties and demonstrate the ability to act effectively during emergencies and other unusual situations.
§ Inspect Security Officers to ensure they possess all necessary permits and credentials as required by the contract, federal, state and local laws.
§ Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of status forms, rosters, etc.)
§ Administrative duties include but are not limited to, issuing written warnings, reconciling daily hours worked, filling open shifts, call-offs, and filling shifts as needed.
§ Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on the job training (OJT), client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, as well as meet American Corporate Security training standards.
§ Frequent contact with the client, staff, public and regulatory agencies. This position requires the ability to speak clearly and distinctly and remain calm in stressful situations.
§ Applicant will be willing to learn to take a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting their needs; meet regularly, listen to issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Strive for complete customer satisfaction.
§ Ability to maintain a high degree of alertness, with the ability to react quickly, mentally, and physically to a variety of unexpected and potentially dangerous scenarios.
§ Ability to read and understand post assignments, write reports, and respond to both routine and emergency dispatches.
§ Enforce American Corporate Security policies as outlined in the handbook, corporate memos and on the intranet.
§ Perform other work-related duties as may be assigned by the Post Commander.
Qualifications:
· Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
· Preferred previous contract security, facility management, customer service management, military or law enforcement experience.
· Familiarity with securing facilities and/or vehicles at a fixed location.
· Must have a solid working knowledge of security operations and safety practices in an operations environment. Desired two (2) plus years.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, the client, and the public. Be able to prepare, understand and follow standard operating procedures; perform duties in a professional manner, write, prepare, and investigate required reports.
· Make independent and good judgment decisions within policy and maintain all contract credentials.
· Ability to work in a team-orientated management environment with the ability to work independently while having an entrepreneurial attitude.

· Physically capable of standing a 10-hour post.
· High School education or GED equivalent, some post-secondary education preferred.
· Ability to pass a background investigation

· Ability to obtain and maintain Valid TWIC Card
· Ability to obtain a Washington State Guard Card
· Must have valid Washington driver's license
Language Skills

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:
· Requires the ability to frequently walk to employee work areas and other work areas;
· Requires the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs;
· Requires close vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus;
· Requires the ability to work in a work environment where there is moderate to extreme noise;
· Requires the ability to focus in a highly charged and noisy environment;
· Requires the ability to work in extreme outdoor temperatures of hot and cold;
· Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time;
· Must be able to routinely climb stairs while securing the post;
· Repetitive use of hands;
· Use of sound, including occasional conditions of high levels of noise;
· Requires extensive use of keyboard involving repetitive motions with fingers, sitting for prolonged periods of time, and extensive use of the telephones/radios and face-to-face communication that requires accurate perception of speech as well as talking and hearing.

Pay: $21.25 - $23.00 per hour
