Heavy Equipment Mechanic Mobile Crane

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance on various types of heavy equipment.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
• Conduct diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools to identify mechanical issues.
• Repair and replace components such as air brakes, tires, and hydraulic systems.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively.
• Fabricate parts as necessary to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during repair processes.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on heavy machinery.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including tire service, air brake systems, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to solder and perform basic electrical repairs is a plus.
• Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical drawings is essential.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing various types of heavy machinery is highly desirable.

We currently have a list of specific jobs that need to be performed. Pay is in full by the job.
Jobs are preset with maximum time allotted based off the job. Time frames are strictly enforced.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
