Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Rides Maintenance Technician located in East Rutherford, NJ. The Rides Maintenance Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing amusement rides and attractions. Daily tasks include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. The technician will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of all rides and attractions.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical skills including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems
- Electrical skills such as diagnosing and repairing electrical components
- Familiarity with safety standards and the ability to ensure compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and record-keeping skills
- Experience in amusement ride maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus
