We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Processor to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.
Job Summary: The Payroll Processor is responsible for managing and executing various payroll-related tasks. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll, garnishments, and other related activities. The Payroll Processor will also support employees with payroll inquiries and maintain accurate records. This position is subject to SOX compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute payroll processing
- Prepare and submit payroll reports
- Process garnishments
- Address NetSuite issues
- Provide support to employees regarding payroll
- Update Outlook calendar with PTO approvals
- Perform benefit reconciliations
- Responsible for monthly accrued payroll entries
- Handle retention bonus calculations and payments
- Process workers compensation accruals
- Manage general liability accruals
- Handle auto liability accruals
- Prepare monthly insurance reports
- Record Quanta activity journal entries
- Verify credit card deposits
- Attend and participate in meetings
- Process credit memos
- Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll administration
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- Strong Excel skills, preferably pivot tables and XLOOKUP
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with multistate payroll processing
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Attendance is required
Helpful but not required:
- CPP or FPC certification
- Experience with report writing/customization (similar to Crystal Reports or Power BI)
- Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements
Working Conditions:
- Primarily works in an office setting with a quiet environment
- This is an in-office position
- May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, to address urgent issues
Physical Requirements:
