Job Title: Regional Recruiter
Position Summary:
American Environmental is seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will develop collaborative relationships with key partners to understand hiring objectives and create effective recruiting strategies that meet our talent acquisition goals. You will provide support to our field leadership team and HR while continuously enhancing recruitment processes to drive the growth of our business.
As the Regional Recruiter, you will be responsible for implementing robust talent acquisition plans, sourcing strategies, and building a strong talent pipeline while ensuring a positive candidate experience. You will play a crucial role in improving the efficiency of the hiring process, enhancing our employer brand, and aligning talent acquisition efforts with our company's goals and growth projections. This full-time, in-office position will focus on supporting all recruiting initiatives in designated geographic areas. Additionally, you will complete weekly reports and provide updates on recruiting metrics and key performance indicators.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment process for assigned job vacancies from job discovery to employment offers and onboarding.
- Generate analytical and well-documented recruitment reports as required.
- Support team members in achieving organizational hiring goals.
- Utilize recruitment technology and social media platforms to promote American Environmental as an employer of choice and cultivate a pipeline of passive candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles and develop job descriptions using industry knowledge.
- Prepare recruitment materials and post job openings on appropriate job boards and applicant tracking systems.
- Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, and other platforms.
- Conduct phone interviews employing various reliable recruiting methods to filter candidates based on job requirements.
- Evaluate applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes for current and future roles.
- Drive staffing objectives by recruiting and assessing job candidates, while advising managers on their status.
- Monitor and recommend best practices to enhance the American Environmental hiring process.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and foster positive relationships with candidates throughout the hiring journey.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all employment-related information, including compensation, benefits, and pre-employment check results such as background checks and drug screenings.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, demonstrating respect for honesty, fairness, and the dignity of all individuals.
- Travel overnight and out of town as needed to support operations in remote areas.
The Regional Recruiter may also assume additional duties and projects assigned by American Environmental as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of proven experience as a Recruiter (either as an in-house recruiter or within a staffing agency).
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals while working independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Outgoing personality with a proven track record of building strong relationships across diverse teams.
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined, able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong proficiency in business software (Word, Excel, and web-based systems).
- Willingness to travel as needed to support hiring events and business requirements in the assigned territory.
