We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated "hands-on" Accounting Manager to join our team at Shannahan Crane and Hoist, a division of American Equipment Holdings. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and reporting.
- Complete month-end close procedures for accurate accounting and timely preparation of financial reports.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording and documentation of financial transactions.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports as requested.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work :
This is a full-time office position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Salary Description
90-110k
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
