GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
The Data Analyst supports Operations data analytics and reporting activities, including responsibility for defining data needs, gathering requirements, and building streamlined data visualization solutions following best practices and standards. As a key member of our Operations Analytics team, the role influences data-driven decisions across the organization, performs data manipulation and dataset preparation for analysis and summarizes information in a logical and understandable format. Communication and collaboration are critical as the role partners with cross-functional teams to understand operational challenges, analyze data to uncover insights, and develop actionable recommendations to improve performance.
- Position sits in West Des Moines and will work an onsite hybrid schedule
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Conducts in-depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Collaborates with stakeholders to define and prioritize business problems.
Effectively communicates complex data analysis findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, finance, computer science or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated understanding of technical annuity product system design
