DATA OPERATIONS ANALYST

What You'll Do :

As an Data Operations Analyst on our Data Operations team (hybrid remote / in Des Moines office) , you'll independently perform daily tasks, data analysis, investment valuation, and ad hoc requests to support the investment lifecycle within a global infrastructure. The team operates in a fast-paced environment that places an emphasis on continuous learning, collaboration, and maintaining an equitable and fun working environment.

Here are additional examples of the types of things you'll do :

• Collect and verify investment data while ensuring accurate and up to date security information is shared across various operational systems encompassing multiple asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives.
• Support global investment initiatives through participation in projects, process reviews and / or system improvements.
• Proactively diagnose and manage high risk issues by reviewing and identifying operational improvements to ensure that data is handled and processed accurately and effectively throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Conduct special analyses and / or studies to ensure quality standards are met including data governance and audit requirements.
• Collaborate and partner with internal and external personnel to obtain information to resolve issues.
• Enhance understanding of Principal Global Investors' products, team procedures, and clients' needs.

Salary Range Information :

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range :

27.40 - $37.45 / hour

Time Off Program :

Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
