General Purpose Of The Job
The Data Quality Analyst partners with business and IT partners to drive discovery, design and execution for profiling, assessing and cleansing data. This role is responsible for defining policies and procedures for the day-to-day operational and administrative management of data quality, while monitoring data quality metrics and requirements for all data domains.

Education And/Or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, MIS, Statistics, Information Management or related field of study; plus two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

General Purpose Of The Job

This role is responsible for defining policies and procedures for the day-to-day operational and administrative management of data quality, while monitoring data quality metrics and requirements for all data domains.
- Position sits in West Des Moines and will work an onsite hybrid schedule**
- Proactively improves the quality of company reporting by providing a high level of data quality awareness across the enterprise.
- Conducts complex data profiling, data analysis, business rules and cleansing rules related work.
- Provides business processes, system support and data quality governance through data coordination and integration to ensure efficient processes and consistent data flows to business and stakeholders.
- Ensures data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing, data audits, and data validation. Performs root-cause analysis on data-related system problems and recommends or executes corrective action.
- Scopes, sizes and manages data quality implementation efforts.
- Provides subject matter expertise for Ataccama Data Quality Rule Development and Ataccama Data tools.
- Performs other work as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Experience in writing data quality rules and workflows and building scorecards utilizing a Data Quality tool (Ataccama preferred)/SQL.
- Experience with data profiling using a Data Quality tool (Ataccama preferred).
- Experience in gathering business data quality requirements and metrics.
- Knowledge of data quality domains.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality concepts.
- Ability to manage relationships across Business and IT.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively and successfully with employees, customers, and other outside third parties.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in the use of MicroSoft Office Suite.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical/operational procedures.
