Position Title : Asset Manager
Location : NYC
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the performance of a portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance asset value and return on investment.
- Analyze property financial statements and prepare reports on portfolio performance.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, capital expenditure plans, and forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve cash flow.
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for investors, providing detailed insights into portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
- Evaluate property management performance and provide strategic guidance.
- Review and approve major operational decisions, including leases and contracts.
- Monitor leasing activity and ensure optimal occupancy levels across the portfolio.
- Oversee tenant satisfaction initiatives to foster long-term tenant retention.
- Negotiate lease terms and resolve tenant disputes as needed.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Recommend property acquisitions, dispositions, or redevelopment strategies.
- Provide insights on competitive positioning and market-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage risk and liability by maintaining appropriate insurance coverage and legal oversight.
- Provide regular updates and reports to ownership on asset performance.
- Collaborate with accountants, legal advisors, and other professionals to support portfolio objectives.
Qualifications :
Salary : $140k - $180k annually, depending on experience
