The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) organization has a mission to create marketplace demand and drive commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative Ideas, products, partnerships, marketing, and customer experiences.
OnBrand is American Express’ In-House Creative agency, our agency is on journey for an exciting expansion. The ideal mid-senior level OnBrand Producer must have a deep understanding of end-to-end pre to post-production workflows within digital production (including social content and online video), animation, and photography. Skills include diligent time management, effective prioritization, communication, and objective problem solving. Must possess a passion for delivering memorable and impactful content to its marketed audience, and a love for a creative agency culture.
Responsibilities:
- Right hand to the Executive Producer for assigned agency end-to-end production needs as well as production management support for the internal content studio as it applies to resource oversight, timeline and budget details, and creative concept stewardship.
- Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, working directly with marketers, account and project management, and design, content and creative teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Ensure agreed next steps are understood and completed by all project team members from production initiation to completion.
- Manage and mitigate day-to-day production challenges and ensure strong and effective communications in time-sensitive situations.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with external production vendors such as photo and video production companies, editorial and audio studios, photographers, directors, and talent representatives to deliver OnBrand creative vision on time and within the established budget.
- Strong negotiation skills culminating in the development and circulation of agency production estimates.
- Visionary planning, shoot, and editorial experience to be applied when creating efficient production calendars.
- Responsible for project budget management, utilizing agency process to track and approve project expenses, billing, and invoicing.
- Take the lead on quality control requirements, project production plans/risks/security compliance in collaboration with enterprise and agency colleagues, making sure deliverables map to marketer and partner business objectives.
- Foster an in-depth understanding of the photo and video creation process from the standpoint of a line producer to efficiently manage all in-house content studio productions.
- Establish a role as a trusted agency production resource and advisor.
Requirements:
Detail oriented and innovative production leader with extensive experience in overseeing project concepts, applying industry standard production planning, managing budgets and schedules, and supervising 3rd party production contractors.
- 5 years experience in commercial production and branded content creation with extensive creative agency collaboration experience.
- Must be well versed in all stages of video production (live action, animation, editing, finishing social video), as well as still photography production (photo selection, retouching and release)
- Outstanding attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills as it applies to agency commercial production.
- Creative Agency experience required.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, and a solid understanding of SAG and non-union guidelines with significant experience in social production.
- Exceptional initiative, follow-through, and positive-minded problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to visualize the best solutions to bring production projects to life.
- Ability to manage multiple production projects, in various stages of execution, simultaneously.
- Familiar in working in a content studio environment and small nimble teams.
- Remain current with learning trends and production solutions.
- Experience or knowledge of online video hosting and file-sharing tools/platforms.
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
