Job Summary
Perform radiographic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease. Supervise X-Ray Technologist Staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform full scope X-rays according to license.
- Take and develop quality x-rays within scope of practice.
- Practice patient shielding and ALARA standards.
- Keep accurate log of exams performed.
- Knowledge of radiologic standards, requirements and regulations.
- Clean exam and X-ray table, bucky and room after each patient.
- Advise Clinic Administrator if supplies are running low.
- Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness and infection control policies and regulations.
- Follow guidelines and requirements of laboratory and clinical accreditation policies.
- Maintain compliance with all established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Treat patients and co-workers consistent with the AFC Mission statement, Vision, Values and Performance Standards.
- Performs the essential functions as defined as by the appropriate Skills Competency Checklist and other related duties as assigned or described by company policy.
- Follow set office protocol as directed by the Center Administrator and healthcare provider.
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited X-ray/M.A. program, and California Limited X-ray License in (Chest, Torso skeletal, and Extremities). Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness and infection control policies and regulations
Salary : $25 - $30
