Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-time/Part time or Per Diem X-Ray Tech/Medical Assistant to perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner.
- Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
- Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
- Process images and prepare them for reading by a physician.
- Utilize digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Aid physician with patient treatments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited X-ray/M.A. program.
- California Limited X-ray License.
