Lead X-Ray Technologist

Imagen Technologies is a high growth healthcare startup enabling patients to be diagnosed, treated, and managed at their primary care appointment (vs. having to refer out to hospitals, imaging centers and other slow and expensive options). Today, we've built an AI-enabled platform that enables patients to receive immediate diagnostic tests, immediate results, and immediate next steps - all in a single Primary Care appointment. For example : through our platform, women across the U.S. are now receiving comprehensive breast imaging, results, and specialist-driven next steps at their local Primary Care office, condensing a multi-month diagnostic journey into 60 minutes.

With over $160m in funding from Google Ventures and some of the largest clinical networks in the country, we are rapidly expanding this platform across the U.S. - from 16 states and 500,000 patients in 2023 to 20 states and 1.5M patients in 2024. By 2026, we will be delivering care across 35 states and to more than 5m patients per year.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technologist Manager to join our fast-paced team. In this role you will launch and optimize x-ray and DEXA programs at primary care practices throughout Southern California You will be responsible to train, lead and oversee - both remotely and in person - a team of x-ray technologists to perform x-rays and DEXA exams. Our Lead X-Ray Technologist will ensure that our technologist team provides compliant care that meets national and state regulations. Our ideal candidate holds high standards, is flexible and resourceful, and builds relationships with clinicians and administrators with ease.

Responsibilities :

• Hire, train, mentor, and manage x-ray technologists across multiple clinic locations in Los Angeles and Orange County to provide high quality care and white glove service to patients and customers
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensure facilities pass state inspections
• Oversee technologist image quality and ensure your technologist team completes required quality control tests and quality assurance activities timely and comprehensively
• Continuously improve and optimize x-ray and DEXA training materials and clinical program policies, procedures, and workflow tools
• Serve as the voice of the technologist and customer to help improve our clinical and operational model
• Support operations, both remotely and in person, by attending meetings, covering technologist staff PTO, interfacing with clients and other duties as necessary

Qualifications :

This role is based in Los Angeles, CA and this job is conducted remotely when the individual is not at customer primary care practices.

The base salary for the position is between $100,000 - $140,000, plus benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
