The Nathan Eddy Agency of American Family Insurance is looking for a positive, motivated individual to join their championship team as a full time Customer Retention Specialist in Joplin, MO.

Primary Job Functions & Activities:
Service Related- This role will be primarily accountable for customer retention including questions or concerns about:
- Rate Changes
- Claims issues
- Assist with income phone calls
- Help with billing issues and policy transactions
- Other items to deliver outstanding customer experience
- Sales Related: The Primary role of the Retention Specialist is to maintain our current customers.
Here are a few of those activities: Cross-sell while assisting current customers:
- Life insurance
- Follow up with customers after sales to complete the sales process
- Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written
- Career Paths: There are two potential career paths associated with this position if the performance of the applicant merited progression over time:
- Department Manager: This person would help build a service team and be responsible for team goals.
- Future Agency Owner: If you know that you would like to run your own business with your own team but don’t believe you currently have the skills or capital this is a great path. This candidate would seek their own agency (outside of Joplin) after a 3 to 4 year mentorship program.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekend events 1 to 2 times per year
