Specializing in fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, fire pumps & fire extinguishers, AFS is pursuing new verticals, new services, and new markets to aggressively augment their growth. Now pursuing fire protection opportunities in Commercial, Industrial, Government, Education (K-12) & Healthcare as well as the Multi-Family.. About the Role

This role reports to the Branch Manager and is located in Austin, TX. AFS is looking for a Fire Alarm Sales representative for immediate opportunities. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, negotiating and closing of fire alarm sales. Must understand the sales cycle, maintain a pipeline, and forecast correctly. This position requires a team player with a positive, professional attitude and demeanor.

What you’ll do (day to day)

  • Actively grow business by seeking new relationships and service opportunities.
  • Provide take-offs, accurate estimates and create proposals for new contracts-ground up, build outs, and renovations.
  • Maintain a high level of service and professionalism.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare proposals in accordance with company policy and in a professional and timely manner.
  • Actively pursue opportunities with existing and new prospective customers in an effort to build business.
  • Take advantage of all marketing opportunities through networking and other market related events ex: industry meetings and after hours functions.
  • Expected to meet or exceed annual, assigned sales goal/budget.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Must have previous fire alarm sales experience.
  • Must possess technical and code knowledge for fire alarm systems.
  • An existing customer base is a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter able to generate new business leads and identify sales opportunities.
  • Must work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must apply innovative and effective sales and project management techniques to maximize performance.
  • Understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards.
  • Make decisions and recommendations that affect profitability.
  • Assertive personality with a progressive and positive attitude.
  • Willing to call on new customers.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to “think outside the box” and encourage creative thinking in others.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve the Company’s overall goals.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Normal work hours are Monday – Friday from 7:00AM – 4:00PM.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
